Funny how UConn ended up with 2 great Israeli players in the span of 5 years and none before or since. Henefeld was a one of a kind player whom I never saw before or since. He could dominate games defensively and I remember a game in which Alonzo Mourning talked smack to him and thought he could intimidate the Dove but that did not happen.

I was at that game with a Jewish friend. So let's be honest and call it what it was. The bigot Mourning used anti-semetic talk torwards Nadav, but Nadav took the high road when asked about it. While Mourning has always got a pass from the media as so often tends to be the case. But wow this photo reminds us all of how long ago that was. Time does fly by.
