OT: Uconn Baseball

Huskies start the AAC schedule at 6-0 with sweeps of ECU( previously top 25) and Memphis.
They finally played 4 games in Storrs this week after starting the season with 25 games on the road.

I took notice of the fact that UConn swept ECU (at ECU) and of the freshman lefty pitcher who was Rhode Island Player of the Year. He sounds like he has a scouting report much like the Long Island kid who was the Mets' 1st pick last year- smallish, doesn't throw that hard but very crafty and polished and apparently has a very high leg kick. That can mess up a batter's timing. Hopefully that kid develops into the staff ace he was 4-0 after beating ECU.

Yeah, I saw him yesterday, Feole is now 5-0 after 8 shout out innings ..looks a little like Anthony Kay... 6-2 /185...not overpowering..
Seems like the 3 starters are their strength with Team USA member Tim Cate, Wills Montgomerie along with the closer John Russell who already has 10 saves......
