Not a good year for JC's coaching tree

I think Dave Leitao had a rough season at DePaul as well. They lost 10 in a row and I saw the win that snapped it (against Georgetown) which was a very lucky win on a last second layup on a complete defensive breakdown by Georgetown. Despite that win I think DePaul finished at bottom of Big East.

Regarding Moore, back to back 21 loss seasons isn't a recipe for job security at a mid major that is pumping serious money into its athletics programs. As a QU alum I am impressed with what they have done and the women's hoops won their league and are going to NCAA tourney. Undoubtedly the hockey team will make the tournament as well.

Yea....Most of Calhouns long time assistants have had terrible times as HCs. Only minor exception was Hobbs the one or two years he was ok at GW

I would say leitao had a decent year at DePaul for the situation he walked in. Think he has a decent recruiting class coming in and they are getting a brand new arena. He also did a very good job his first go around at DePaul

Pikell at Rutgers did well this year.

Hope KO can find a spot for Tom moore on the staff if he wants to come back. KO, killings and Tom Moore would absolutely kill it on the recruiting front.

It's hard to believe it's been 7 years Moore's been at QU. I can remember him doing the postgame interviews on radio many times while driving home from games at Gampel. He was a major stat guru. He seemed to have initial success at QU and then things went aouth the last two years. He will likely turn up as an assistant somewhere.
