Tate is nothing new, I read threw this guys "business game" in 15 minutes dealing with him 15 years ago, so to me I can't believe he continued to scam people over the years : Basketball Icon Tate George To Be Sentenced In Ponzi Scheme
"George has been in prison without bail since his conviction in September 2013, but a series of delays has pushed off his judgment date. " ....And Tate don't you know only the Government can take people's money for decades and run a Ponzi Scheme, it's called Social Security, just ask Chris Christie....LOL !

But JA, WTF were you thinking son...".Adrien, said the report, somehow got the keys to the car from a valet station at a West Hollywood, Calif., hotel. ...and took it on a six-hour joy ride."
Jeff Adrien Arrested In California On Auto Theft Charges

I am guessing that a stoned Adrien got the keys to the wrong car from the valet, joyrided and damaged the car, and the owner called the police. It could have been an honest, albeit stoned, mistake. I am not sure if the "I was high on weed and didn't realize it wasn't my car" defense will work, but it could be attempted, and he can then deal with a marijuana/DUI charge and perhaps plead to that or get AEP. I have almost gotten into Hondas that looked like mine in the past while sober. There are actually quite a few out there same color and model as mine.

Without knowing more facts I can't determine whether to give Jeff a pass on this one. Methinks if he pays for the damage to the car, the charges will get reduced or dropped.

SMH at Jeff... Whatever hopes of getting back and sticking in the league are now out the window for him most likely!!

That's true but not sure he was getting anything more than a few cups of coffee anyway.

Will be interesting to see what happens to Jahlil Okafor as well. To get involved in fistfights with heckling fans of opposing teams is really beyond stupid. On another note I was very disappointed his cousin, our former Husky Emeka Okafor, was unable to secure NBA employment. I assume his cervical disc injury left him very damaged goods.
