...who's second leading scorer PG Isaiah Taylor is expected to miss extended time
Despite that the Longhorns start 5 upperclassmen, remain undefeated and still are a TOP 10
I wonder if Omar will be back after his suspension...need another option if only as a trial to see if he can
regain his 3 pt shot....Boat, Cassell and Purvis are at 30% or under....

From the New Have Register's Borges:

"Kevin Ollie wouldn't comment on the four suspended players -- or even say whether they're still in Puerto Rico
or not.
The Huskies will remain in Puerto Rico on Monday for some sight-seeing and team activities, then fly back to
Hartford on Tuesday. There is no school at Storrs all week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Boatright, Cassell a combined 3-for-21 on 3-pointers this tournament. Hamilton was 8-for-12.
(Purvis was 4-13 )
That's gotta pick up.

Re: Next up # 10...Texas.......

Somebody has to hit 3s or teams will just sag back and invite the 3s and stop the penetration especially with guys like Purvis who lower their shoulder, barrel forward and try to plow through a sea of bodies, offensive fouls be damned. This is what happened to Memphis last year- they couldn't hit the 3 consistently enough and teams gave them that and took away penetration from their guards, which is all that their guards were good at.
