I feel like McNeely is the toughest player UConn has recruited in many years, possibly since Jeff Adrien. It's not his production, it's how he is getting it. He has so far not been the 3 point shooter he was advertised to be, yet he is doing every single other thing a player can do on a basketball court to impact winning, to the point that it doesn't matter he is only hitting 33% on his 3s. I was expecting a 3 point shooting specialist, and what we got is a tough as nails all around basketball player who honors the bandana that he wears. He does for the bandana in basketball what John McEnroe did for it in tennis. You kind of get the feeling that he gets it:
