Other than Villanova, the OOC home schedule sucks donkey balls.
TRUE.....and Monmouth @ RPI # 51 (but who knows how they'll be this year), were the only ones above 180 in the RPI....(BU #187, Columbia #264, Colgate #291, Coppin St #336) would fit into the bottom quarter of the AAC very nicely ( USF # 317, Tulane # 292 , ECU #214 ). ....With a weak drawing schedule like this and KO trainwreckin' the program, he might grab a few wins vs these cellar dwellers, but the home attendance would only seem to keep going down.

There is nothing to be gained by playing these games and much to lose, if they lose one or more of them, like they did last year.

That might be true except these crap teams are what allowed KO's 16-17 record last year( worst in 30 years) to look way better than it was. Uconn had only 4 wins vs. teams with an RPI 100 or better and no wins vs. the top 50. On the other end KO picked picked up 7 of his wins vs. teams ranked #187 or worse (6 over #200) And like you said KO also lost twice vs. teams over #200.

To put it into perspective how bad a year it was ....you give KO an ACC schedule like BC who was 9-23 and he's probably lookin' @ a season that's only a game or 2 better than them in the win column. BC had 3 wins vs teams that had better a RPI than 100 and also lost 2 games to teams #200 plus. Bottom line is this is not acceptable for a Uconn head coach and it can't happen 2 years in a row

Uconn RPI Breakdown vs. BC RPI Breakdown

Looks like Uconn added another powerhouse.. SMH !!!...... to the home schedule:

I have to ask what the value of this game is. When games like this were all but guaranteed wins, it could be a nice tune-up. However, with so many question marks on this team, it looks like a lose-lose situation for UConn.

I also heard later this week from Uconn tix office yesterday. AAC offices have been a little busy with the FB cancellations because of Irma.
