KW.....???

Borges has already said this can't be done, so one of these writers are clueless( I'd guess Amore) and need to get their facts strait:

AMORE @ the Courant: " However, Williams, 24, a JuCo transfer who rarely plays, hinted via Twitter after the game that he could be leaving the UConn program after a season and a half, which could open up a scholarship for the next semester. "

Borges @ the NHR- "UConn is at its scholarship allotment of 13, and even if a current scholarship player left the program, Akok wouldn’t have been able to take that scholarship as they are considered year-long “counters.”

I think Borges is right. If the rule were otherwise it would encourage teams to "fire" or run off the team players who suck donkey balls in some early season game. Williams probably sees Sid Wilson playing now in front of him and is reading the tea leaves.

Well Dom's the dork...and Kwinton Williams has deleted his twitter account . Amore runs with a story that he now has to rewrite and changed to this:
"It is not clear whether the rules would allow a school to give a scholarship, which carries a one-year commitment, to someone else in such a case."

is Kwinton Williams still on the UConn team?

Why was he posting stuff on Twitter about people being honest with him about his talent level?
