Hurley, Haith Ejections Over a "Competitive Discussion", Called Embarrassing

After Mick Cronin was ejected Tuesday night, he called for AAC to suspend multiple officials. It did seem like a total overreaction last night as well. I did not see anything that warranted a technical foul on either coach.

Only saw the last 30 seconds of the game last night since I have tix to (bad) Hockey @ the XL , but just saw this on twitter:

The officials totally overreacted to the situation. No technical fouls on either coach was necessary. All they had to do was warn the coaches not to address each other again or they would be assessed a technical foul. To the extent there was any exchange, or "competitive discussion", it was initiated by Haith. But it was no big deal. The second technical foul occurred when Hurley attempted to shake Haith's hand which (apparently) was interpreted as a hostile maneuver.

Let the players play and let the coaches coach.
