Brimah Declaring for NBA Draft

Very shocked at this move. Brimah still needs another year to develop his offensive skills and gain some more weight. He is too one-dimensional of a player and needs to polish his game. The good thing is like Hamilton, he did not hire an agent so he has the ability to come back and just "test the draft waters" at this point. I really hope he comes back and finishes out his senior year as a Husky.

It's not surprising to me. Declaring lets the kids get extra work in, and it's great experience preparing for a draft/combine.

These rules are nerve wracking for fans, but good for the kids.

Brimah isn't an NBA player. He is worse than Hasheem Thabeet offensively and not as good defensively and Thabeet couldn't make it in the NBA. Brimah is just too foul prone. In the NBA he could set league records picking up fouls- he could foul out in 7 minutes or so if they even let him play that much. It's not a league for foul prone players.

Rothstein has UConn #17 in his preseason top 25 but I don't know if that is pre- or post- Dan Hamilton to the NBA.
