Aresco Demands Respect For AAC

Gotta love this paragraph in the ESPN article, hmmm, then what are they influenced by ?...($$$)
"South Florida is No. 22 in the Associated Press poll this week and No. 19 in the coaches' poll, but the committee members typically aren't influenced by those. Hocutt has said in the past he doesn't even look at them. "

Of course they don't want to rank a one loss USF team.... if they did then, when UCF and USF play.. the winner of the game could get propelled even close to a top spot. Aresco needs to stop balancing his responses and saying people on this committee are great, because they're not, they're frauds....the bottom line is follow the money trail....the CFP committee (controlled by the P-5) does everything they can to keep the system in place to make sure as much bowl money as possible stays in the self proclaimed " Power 5".....

Remember when the ACC was the conference who wasn't standing up to the BCS levels, not the Big East, before they poached 3 BE teams in round one ? ........So now the ACC and these other 4 were more than happy to break up one monopoly (the BCS) & create another while they cut it down to 5 (stole the BE/AAC's spot), so they could split up more money at the top. All with the NCAA voting help of a few hundred smaller schools (not affected by the autonomy) who don't play big time CFB (but were afraid they might get cut out of NCAA tourney money if they didn't vote with the P-5 cartel) .

It's the same people from the same conferences (BCS minus 1) on these committees justifying why their conferences are so much better in their "new system". (P-5) Maybe its time Aresco to circle the wagons and if you can't join em' or beat em'... sue em... like the noise coming out of Utah and Sen Orin Hatch a few years back ( it worked since Utah's now in the cartel, instead of out)

Utah has BCS lawsuit in mind - ESPN.com
"From the very first kickoff of the college football season, the BCS uses its monopoly powers to put more than half of the schools at a disadvantage," Shurtleff said.
" It's a racket, it is white-collar crime. It's clearly, clearly antitrust."....."I'm supposed to be grateful to these people?" he said in an interview with ESPN.com. "Who the hell put them in charge?" Hawaii Rep. Abercrombie said he is tired of "the insufferable arrogance of these BCS people. Nobody likes arrogant, condescending, patronizing types."

"There is no doubt that the BCS is a near monopoly," said Andrew Zimbalist, a professor of economics at Smith College who has focused his research on sports monopolies. "There is no doubt that it uses its power to make unequal payoffs to conferences and schools. And there is no doubt that its opportunities for rewards are not equal. There is a good case to be made."

Also ESPN is part of this charade. Since they pay the most money for these (P-5) conferences they put on their best effort to hype them up while diminishing the AAC as Aresco mentions in Matt's article below:

"That’s when Aresco ripped into ESPN about their lack of discussion about UCF’s position in the new poll,"
