UConn athletic programs score high in latest APR figures

The UConn men’s basketball team posted a perfect 1,000 score in Academic Progress Rate data for the 2017-18 academic year, released Wednesday by the NCAA. The football program’s 981 was its highest multiyear since the current APR formula was established in 2004. The UConn women’s team had a 980 score for 2017-18. Other UConn teams to post perfect 1,000 scores for 2017-18 include women’s cross country, softball, women’s soccer, women’s swimming, women’s tennis, men’s cross country, men’s golf, men’s hockey and men’s tennis.

side note: New coach Dan Hurley, while at Rhode Island, posted perfect scores the last two academic years counted.

That perfect score was posted on Kevin Ollie’s watch so he does deserve some credit for that.
True.... it's alot easier posting a good APR when you don't recruit (and/or develop) guys good enough to leave for the NBA !
