I just noticed the FB team has a post spring Roster up for 2017 on the website. 3 names are no longer listed. Rising RS soph William Richardson, a scholly LB who did not see any action in 2 years. Plus 2 RS SO preferred walk-ons that came in from the Bob Diaco era, DL Tom Tabur who was shifted from the OL for the spring and LB Luke Sowa ( saw action in seven games)..

I guess the D will have a different make up now that they are away from Diaco's 3-4 switching over to Crocker's 3-3-5....Last years staff listed 18 LB's (2016 Roster)
( including WO's) ...Going into the fall it looks like only about 9 LB's (with Levenberry out) including the 2 true FR and a WO. Though a few LB's like Carrezola and Garson have switched listings to DL.

Another loss ? ... Noticed today that preferred walk-on: Ted Allmendinger Fullback/TE (Avon, CT) who did get snaps last year as an F-back .. is not on the 2017 Roster.

Too bad...CT kid
Did he ever get a scholly offer from HCRE? Thought he was a walk on for Ole Hot Pants BD.

Jim Fuller clears up a few things with some of these guys in his blog..... walk-ons that Diaco gave schollies to... that have left:

Nazir Williams out for violation of Athletic Department policy. The class of 2015 recruit had been in some hot water after an incident which involved another former player.

RB David Williams, who was expected to come to UConn as a grad transfer from South Carolina and was a former 4-star recruit, also appears to be taking his talents elsewhere, per UConn.

RB position was getting a little thin, glad Randy didn't wait long to add some depth to the RB position for 2017, by adding Kevin Mensah before he ever got to St. Thomas More
